Seems like the console must connect to the internet once every 30 days otherwise it will disable access to digitally purchased games until the console connects to the internet again. Applies to new purchases. This is similar to how some PC DRM like Denuvo works, though that is on a game by game basis. For PC gamers, this is a bit disappointing as well as not only are Sony games seemingly going to stop being ported to PC, the few that make it might have Denuvo or similar DRM. Shame, as Sony as doing all the right things. Suppose they're giving Xbox an unintentional lifeline.

Seems like it is a one time online check. Which is more similar to how it works with just Steam DRM.
