Im getting the following for a client. The main use is video editing.

Is the memory OK for the PC-DL?

Case - CHIEFTEC Black ATX Middle Tower Case
PSU - Antec 550W Power Supply, 24-Pin, Model "TRUE550 EPS12V”
Hard Drive – Dual RAID-0 Western Digital Raptor 36.7GB 10,000RPM SATA Hard Drive
RAM – Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, Low Latency 184 Pin 1GB
DVD-RW - Sony Internal DVD-/+RW Recorder Drive
CPU – Dual Intel Xeon 2.66 GHz 533MHz FSB, 512K Cache, HT
Motherboard - ASUS i875P Chipset PC-DL Motherboard for Dual Intel Xeon CPU
Video Card - XFX nVIDIA GeForce FX5700LE Video Card, 256MB DDR, 128-bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP
Basic Sony Floppy
Speakers - Creative SBS330 2.1 Speaker

$1699 (Requires XP Pro or Windows 2000 to support dual CPU)

the PC-Dl works fine with 1 gig of regular ram (just about any speed) mine works great with the normal pc2100 ram in there now (kingston value ram non-reg non-ecc) and it works great (with a higher OC) with my pc3200 ram (again kingston vbalue ram non-reg non-ecc) but the 3200 is from my p4 3.0 so it was just to test it.

also keep in mind that win2k workstation pro will only use 2 cpu, so if you go that way turn of HT in the bios, (you will lose some performainc with this, but not much ~0-40% depending on the application) winxp pro will use both CPU with HT enabled (for 4 cpus :D) and there is a massive thread at 2cpu.com on this board.

hope this helps

ps. since this if for video editing, i would get another sata drive, for the os, and put the swap file, and the scratch drives, on the raided drives plus with the os and applications on the non-raided drive, you will not lose the setup (just the data) if one of the raid drives fail. just my 2 cents.

Do not by the Corsair. Why ? You don't need it.

Your client won't OC the comp so get Corsair Value / Kingston Value / Crucial ... PC2100/PC2700/PC3200 doesn't really matter - if the price is OK get the PC3200 so you can those that in other comps when needed ...
