Oracle - PHP configuration

Hi All,

I am start a new project at work involving PHP and Oracle. The only information that I been able to find regarding configuration is that PHP will need to be recompiled to include oci8(?) and have some environment variables set. Has ne1 done this and have some suggestions. The system that i will be working with is apache/solaris/php. the db server will also be solaris/oracle. the oracle version is 8.1.7.0.0
