Opteron 175 temp weirdness.

So I am now running my Opty 175 at 2,875. (319.4x9.0) max temp in Orthos is getting to 50c.

I was running it at 2,830 (257.3x11) and my max temp in Orthos was getting to
52c.

Voltage is the same at 1.7v

Has anybody else noticed this? The fact that a lower multiplier somehow gives a lower full load temp?

Temps are taken from the latest CoreTemp.
 
2c difference could be attributed to plenty of different variables for the same voltage... I don't see anything unusual about that.
