I bought a Onkyo HTIB for around 250, and recently I've been having problems. I was playing the speakers at max and then it randomly shuts off. Turns out my front left speaker died. (it only plays sound extrememly quietly) Then about 3 weeks later after I switched a reaer speaker to the front left and it happened again (front left fried). I was wondering if this is my receiver causing the problem or the speakers? I also built a shelf for the reciever that keeps it in a poor circulated area possibly causing overheating.

Is this problem common? Is it overheating? Has anyone seen something similiar?
