• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

If you have a OEM XP home edition and that harddrive crashes, can you use that same disk/key to install on a new harddrive?

Yes, most likely you can. You'll probably need to call Microsoft to activate, but it should work just fine... it always has for me.

In this situation, definitely. When/if you have to call in to activate, just explain that your hard drive died, and it was replaced, but it's still the same computer.

If it's the same motherboard, it's unlikely there will be a problem with getting them to reactivate.. that pretty much makes it the same computer.
