Ok im trying to find a free or cheap program that can load the ntfs table in dos so i can use my many many dos program to fix errors in the NTFS partion any ideas & just looking at the files on the partion isnt going to work then needed to be loaded so they can be scaned by the programs & then edited if needed be from dos.

Thx

Whoa there, killer. Break that up in to about 8 sentences and we might be able to understand what you are asking. I was able to pull 'ntfs' and 'dos' out of your statement, so my suggestion is NTFSDos by sysinternals. By ntfs table, are you referring to the master file table? I've read your sentence about ten times now and it still makes no sense.

Be prepared to pay, and I mean pay big for that little driver for DOS. The free version only allows you to read the ntfs partition, you have to buy the paid version to actually write to it, which means you won't be fixing any errors by DOS.

so jpmkm i was typing it just before i when to bed so i rushed it. not the master table just so it can be r/w to it like as if it was FAT. Its looking like im going to have to use linux on a disk & make it emulet dos so i cant run my programs becasue it like 150 for the write. yea im going to try sysinterals now
