I have computer with a amd 945 phenom 2 and a m4a785td-v evo motherrboard. I have tried different video card in both pcie slots, different memory and new bios battery. I hooked monitor up to on board video with card in the computer
and it would start running and then stop. Took card out and computer would run but still no video. Could this be a motherboard problem. appreciate any help.

Could be power supply or motherboard. Test it with a known good supply if possible.

Tried a new power supply and still no video, so it must be motherboard. Thanks for the replies.

I had already ordered a motherboard before you posted. It is the same motherboard that I have so I should not have any problems with windows 10 activation.

On the bright side, you might not even have to format.

How much and was it refurbished? I'm just curious.
