Today I just upgraded my iPhone 15 Pro Max to much awaited iOS 18.0 but I don't see the option of Apple Intelligence. Apple claimed that iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will support Apple Intelligence after upgrading to iOS 18. How do I enable Apple Intelligence?

The Apple Intelligence features aren't going to start rolling out until iOS 18.1 and 18.2. So you're going to have to wait a few more months. The 15 Pro and Pro Max are both getting Apple Intelligence.

You def will not see this rolled out until after the iPhone 16 is officially released. Even then the update may not be available on the 15 on day one. Apple says it is compatible so I’d just wait it out.

If you get the iOS 18.1 developer beta there is an option for Apple Intelligence, you can get on a “wait list” and it’ll activate in about an hour. The 18.1 beta is really good, haven’t had any issues with it. I believe it’s developer beta 4 already.

The public iOS 18.1 beta is available now, so you don't have to go the developer route if you want to try it. Just remember that the feature rollouts will be staggered, so the fully upgraded Siri might not arrive until next year. Most should be in place by iOS 18.2.

If newer consumer hardware and software have AI integrated in it, shouldn't it allow the user to be able set the AI to remove/don't show unwanted ads, spam calls/ text messages/ emails etc from your AI phone? I'm sure a lot of people want this feature of AI. I hope Apple does that in their upcoming release, lol.

Having said that I doubt such feature will ever exist in any AI phones.

With how apple is implementing ML on the phones hardware - yes, technically feasible. But yes, I doubt even they would piss off advertisers this much.

Never gonna happen. Apple is not your friend.

I just asked siri if she was my friend. "I am your assistant and your friend". So by extension, apple is my friend.

Siri asked me when the last time I bought a new apple product was when I asked that question. She's got me figured out.
