didn't the last Ninja Gaiden release on PC have major issues like no KB/M support?

I could never get past the first boss on these games. But with Game pass may actually give it another shot.

The footage so far makes this one look more stylized like NG3. I think it looks cool so far. They seem to have major larger weapons quicker as he's swinging that big ass hammer almost as fast as a sword. In the older titles, you had to manage larger weapons a little differently, a la the Souls games. The voice acting for the English version sounds awful, though. It sounds like they're just reading their lines for the first time.

Definitely going to keep my eyes on this one. Is the third game worth playing? I remember it had a poor reception when it came out, but I'm wondering if now that enough time has passed if that reaction was overblown.

From what I recall there were 2 versions of NG3 that were extremely different from one another. The first version was (supposedly) super basic, easy, and laden with technical issues. Reviews were awful. The company then released a version for the Wii U that was almost like the "real" version of the game. NG3: Razor's Edge. I played that version and I can attest that it was hard as fuck and very similar to the first two games in terms of gameplay and visuals. It was still a little bit bland, but it at least felt right.

Anyone playing yet? Reviews look promising. I'll be picking it up once I'm finished with Hades 2.

I played around for 5 minutes last night. Felt like the previous titles (which isn't a bad thing) to me.

I saw that this weekend and was surprised I didn't hear about it earlier, or see anyone post it in these forums.

Itagaki was awesome. He created the Dead or Alive series and revitalized Ninja Gaiden.

Back in the late 90s/early 2000s DOA games were actual contenders for best graphics in a video game.

He made Ninja Gaiden a hard game, but not pointless hard, hard where you felt like you skillfully overcame a challenge by improving.

After he left Tecmo DOA and Ninja Gaiden went downhill.
