doing some overclocking with this board, and heard some good things about some of the modded bios's out there.

I am trying to flash with one (d23-subzero) and when I run the flash proggy from a boot disk, i get "Flash ROM is write proteced"

I can't find any jumpers that control this, ive cleared the cmos, and looked for any settings in BIOS to turn this off, and cant find any.

any ideas?

OK, I think what happened is maybe I used the wrong BIOS from abit, for the non V2.0 version of the board, which would explain alot. So I downloaded an offical version for the V2.0, and now I am getting error "Not an AWARD Bios" which I know is not true...argh

So anybody got experience in fixing janky BIOS's? Do I have to get a new one?
How much are the programers? And do they work with buggered up BIOS chips?

No Love?

I have the same problem. I am trying to flash a NF7-S bios and keep getting the locked jumper warning also. I looked at abits website and nothing. Post back if you find out something, I will do the same.
