I have realised that the forceware firewall and active armor enable the web based setup by running apache services on your computer, Ne1 knows if i can set those services to manual and start them only if i need them??
 
start->controll panel->administrative tools->services. I forget the exact "service" its called, but I believe it was very obvious once I poked around and sorted by "status".

Once found you can set it to manual or whatever floats your boat.
