1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? Etc
Main use for this computer is web browsing, word processing, Excel, and BD ripping. I do some gaming though it's limited to mmo's or fps's. I do not use photoshop or do any video editing. The main thing though is that I expect to start using AutoCAD at home and don't want to deal with stuttery performance when I do have to do CAD work at home. I heard CAD is NOT multi-threaded for most operations so I'm not sure what type of processor to use or what type of bottleneck to look for. I was hoping for this pc to last at least 2 years without upgrading anything I buy now.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Budget is around $600-$700 on MB, CPU, Ram and up to $200 on anything else.

3) Where do you live?
Phoenix AZ with access to Fry's and the internet. Closest microcenter is in CA and is a bit far to drive to unless it's worth $100 in gas and a day of driving.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
I'm expecting to upgrade the motherboard, CPU, RAM, and maybe SSD, HSF, and videocard.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
I have a case, HDDs, opticals, display, keyboard/mouse . My current videocard is a 8800GTS 640Mb, HSF is a Ninja Scythe rev. B, and my PSU is a Corsair 620HX.

6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes, with an aftermarket air cooler.

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
I have a dell 24" 2407wfp (1080p).

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
In the next couple of months i.e. willing to wait for sale prices but not necessarily next gen tech.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
Looking for SATA 3 and USB 3.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
64 bit Windows 7 pro.

I would suggest an i7 920 + 6gb ddr3-1600 + asus/gb mobo. If you don't do much gaming your 8800 would be fine.
