New widescreen - can't set proper resolution

Hey, just got a new Dell E198WFP and paired it up with a Dell Poweredge SC420 running Windows XP Professional.

The resolutions that I can select are not widescreen, therefore the picture is stretched. Dell Customer Support said that XP is not supported on that computer and dropped it at that.

The video adapter is an Intel 7221 with driver 6.0.1.3

Surely I can select a widescreen resolution! Please help me.
