I'm currently using an old win98se computer with two hdds in it, one 13GB that it came with and an 80GB that I put in latter. Space is starting to run low so I've thought about getting a new hdd however this computer is getting to be quite old and I do plan on getting a new one once I have the money. In the meantime I do still need more space so I've come to the conclusion that an external drive would probably be the best option.

Being an older computer I figure I probably can't just go out and get any external drive, so I was wondering if there are any external drives in particular I should look into.

Assuming the computer uses IDE drives then you should just buy the drive you are going to put in you new computer and put it in there.

BTW You REALLY need an upgrade.
