New Computer - Win7 or Win10?

I went from Win 7 to Linux Mint 17.2 (Cin) to Windows 10.

I've had two serious problems with 10 that required a reinstall. But that was around seven months ago. Since then, 10 has been working great for me.

As always, YMMV, and always backup your stuff.

I would say to go for it, you will not regret it. Also, you can always roll back if you want too. (Don't let anything DPI says get to you, he has issues with anything Microsoft. :D )
