Here is some of the feedback I would appreciate:
1. Are there any compatibility issues?
2. Could I get better value somehow?
3. Do you know of any stores in Canada where any of these parts or others can be found cheaper?
4. Is the AMD 3200+ worth the extra money over the AMD 3000+ if you are overclocking (the higher multiplier seemed like it was worth the extra money)
5. Am I missing anything (I only have speakers for this system)?
6. Would you do anything differently?

I'd get a power supply if I were you. :D

As for processors, it's a tough call. I didn't know what to do myself so I went with a cheap Duron 1.8 GHz until I really see what's going on in several months. I just realized you can game AND download and other things at the same time with a dual core. They're coming out with a $345 US AMD dual core next month. The thing to consider is if you spend $200 on a CPU right now and spend $200 later on for a cheap dual core, then you end up paying $400 total anyway. So, maybe you could go with the cheaper dual core next month. Had I known newegg was coming to Canada, I would have held my breath for bit my tongue (whatever) until then because I've pretty much "studied" the buying situation in Canada and we really NEED newegg here. They say they build warehouses in the places they serve. That means no stupid delays and duties. I noticed a 10% "overcharge" on tigerdirect.ca on prices if you compare the REAL exchange rate (i.e., item on US site $100, on CDN site $135). They still have competitive prices though which is a clear indication to me the situation sucks. It's pretty clear from my order with them that they pay duties themselves at the border and ship it to you duty free (you still need to pay taxes).

BTW, I did read SATA was not recommended for first time builders because the number of problems you can encounter.

Other idea? Maybe consider 6800 GT or floppy drive in case your system is completely screwed.

Your build looks really good! If you arent' getting huge air cooling or water cooling, I'd reccomend the 3200+.

Other than that, it's a keeper.

I'd get a smaller, cheaper case. You don't have that much gear, and unless im thinking of a different case, its fairly huge for what you have there.

Built a few budget systems with a 56$ coolermaster cavilier 3 and have been VERY satisfied.

*edit* i see its a midtower, its smaller than I thought. Still, you can buy a much cheaper case and spend the money elsewhere.
 
case: Sonata is a NICE case, if you want more *bling*, then go for a SuperLanBoy.

Monitor: I just picked up a 913T - excellent LCD for the money.

CPU & Multis: yeah, go for the 3200+, that 10x multi is nice to have. If you have the $$$, I'd say even go for the 3500+ because the 11x multi is even NICER to have. Pretty much guaranteed 2500 mhz on a 3200+ if your ram can do 210 mhz (thanks to the 5/6 divider), and w/ an 11x multi you've just got more room to play with. 3200+ will most likely suit your needs & price point more efficiently, however.
