Ok, I have two systems on a network, a XP machine and a (shudder) Windows ME machine. They are both connected by a crossover wire where I have internet connection sharing enabled and working. Also, I am able to recieve files from the ME machine to the XP machine, but not vice versa.
When I click on the "Entire network" icon, it says "Unable to browse the network. Windows is unable to gain access to the network. This may be for a number of reasons."
I have checked the name, and I am doubly sure that I have file sharing enabled and installed.
I also ripped out the tcp/ip for the nic card, and reinstalled it to no avail.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
