A) Read through the stickies at the top

B) 4 TB of what?

C) At least do a search of this sub-forum for other peoples builds

Im sorry i mean 4 tb of hardrive space but i will just be getting 1tb drive at first. What is the cheapest cpu you can get that will play blueray back just fine.Im confused about DRm to and will ripped bluerays play on your pc just fine.Just give me the best specs you think you need and im looking at the AMD 780G chipset since its the best onboard video

AMD 4050e is plenty becuase the video processing is offloaded to the IGP

Ripped blu-Rays will work if you have AnyDVD.

D) Realise the software is majorly immature and by a super cheap BR player or a PS3 (best BR player on the market).

As much as I love my HTPC I don't see any point in adding a BR drive to it due to the lack of proper software support (ie VMC doesn't support BR playback; you have to go outside of VMC and launch PowerDVD instead).
