Need help finding Solenoid

It's not exactly for case modding but its for another project I'm working on for class and thought yall could help.

I'm trying to find a Solenoid, Push/Pull Type, Stroke of at least 0.5"

Also what are some good sites that has a lot of parts to choose from?
 
Jameco probably has one of what you're looking for. If not, ebay and allelectronics.com come to mind as likely candidates for what you're looking for.
