jus wanted to say that i have had my 7950gt for about 2 weeks now and i could not be happier, i can play all my games at the maximum settings that is with 8x aa 16x aniso, from NFSC,COD2, Prey,fifa 2k7,etc except fs2004 and fsx, fs2k4 gets 20fps with my pmdg 747 panel but up to 89 with all my other panels, fsx is jus plain ole bad at framerates,otherwise it plays all other games i throw at it at an average of 40fps for COD2 at max settings, average 44fps for nfsc, fifa2k7 is 80fps in game and 33fps in in game videos,colin 2k5 also at max settings is about 70fps average and prey,at up to 90fps, with vsnyc 60fps.....................all on a 2.8 pentium D 820 with 2 gigs of 533 ram and a 250gig sata hd, my max resolution on my lcd is 1280*1024 and all my games are played at the max reolution smoothly, (wish it couldve been higher), resolution that is. it is a great improvement over my 7300le.

I just bought a 7950GT with my "getting out of AGP land" upgrade.

I would have went with an ATI based motherboard and crossfire, but I couldn't find one with good price and the features I want. So instead of an X2/ATI 1950/xfire capable system I went X2/nvidia/SLI capable. The 7950GT sure seems to do the trick with my 1680x1050 display. The price just came down on them too...so I sqweaked it into my "no more than $350 for a vid card budget". (CDN)
