My Antec Aria PC

I recently built a SFF pc using an antec aria case. In my rig I have a gigabyte mobo GA-K8VT800M, BFG-6800 gt OC, and some really special RANDOM value memory 512. Everything runs really great more or less, I just need some more memory. However, It seems that my computer restarts and random times for no reason at all. It will just click and restart without me touching anything. I wasnt sure if this was a problem with the psu being kind of small or something overheating... I generally keep the sides off the case to allow cooling and things of that nature. I was curious if anyone else was having any problems with their antec aria case like this and if they could help me sum up my problem. ^^ Thank you Cheers. -Fate

Leave the case open and aim a fan at it - if the system doesn't reboot, then it's a thermal issue. If not, it could be bad memory, a bad motherboard, a bad power supply...

If it's thermal, improving case airflow greatly helps. First suggestion is a VGA Silencer - this will stop your 6800 from dumping heat into your case, which is a godsend for a SFF system. After that, perhaps a better CPU cooler?

I agree with gee's suggestions. Its either thermal, or, its related to the memory you are using. Try running memtest on it and check for faulty memory. Are you running stock cooling on both the CPU and the GPU?

Yes I am currently running stock cooling on both the cpu and the bfg 6800 gt. However, the bfg seems to have a nice heatsink//fans on it. I already know that need to replace the cpu heatsink.. I want to get the same one that you have Mr.E the zalman one. My memory sucks and thats what I am summing it up to because I want to get a gig of corsair memory.
-fate; reply please :p

I don't think its the BFG that has the problem as I am running stock cooling on mine as well. The Zalman is a nice cooler and is quiet too. Again, may I suggest running Memtest and verify your memory isn't the cuprit? That way you can rule out it before going through the added expense of purchasing things that you might not necessarily need.

Yes, I definently will run a mem test and I will post the results as soon as I get some extra time to do it...I just dont see how it could be my psu when I know people with the exact same rig as me (Mr.E) and they seem to be running everything fine :-p Thanks again I will keep things updated.
