Hey all -
I have a home built system with a MSI P6N SLI, Core 2 Duo E6300, 6GB 800MHz OCZ RAM, ATI Radeon X800XL, 2 hard drives, bla bla bla. I haven't gotten to use the system in a couple of weeks, and now it refuses to start up at all. I mean, you press the power switch and nothing happens. No hard drives spinning up, no beeps, no POST, nothing. So I pull out the RAM, vid card, reseat everything, including CPU, just to make sure nothing came loose. I cleared the CMOS. Nothing. Pulled out two RAM sticks, then pulled out the other two and put the first two back in. Pulled out the vid card to see if it would come up and give me a beep. Nope. The mobo has a little yellow LED on it showing that it has standby power. Checked that the power switch was actually connected, and it was. Power supply cables were connected to the mobo appropriately. It's a Antec (I think, not at home) 430W unit. Pulled the PSU cables and reseated them. No help.
Any thoughts on what the issue might be? Mobo just completely dead? CPU? Dead vid card wouldn't do this, right? Dead PSU and the mobo wouldn't show standby power, I wouldn't think. I'm at the point of WTF right now.
