Hi all

I am just wondering if anyone here who owns an MSI board has had any luck in using the overclocking tool that comes with the board?

I have an MSI 648 Max L and have the latest version of Fuzzy Logic and when I use the Auto function to test for the highest o/c, my system locks up.

Thanks for any help,

It's supposed to do that. That's how it finds the maximum setting. Start FuzzyLogic hit the auto button (a little box will pop up saying it will crash the system) then reboot start FuzzyLogic again and hit the TURBO button which will set it to the last stable speed auto was able to obtain.

I tried running FL4 and let it sit for about 5 mins, then I rebooted and it didn't take any new settings.

I believe I read somewhere on the MSI site that FL4 doesn't work with WinXP Pro, or something like that.

I even tried the manual settings thru FL4 and still nothing. I guess I will have to go into my bios if I want to o/c my rig

Thanks

WinXP Pro

I have the latest drivers for my mobo, but when o/cing via bios, when I set the fsb to anything other than 133, my rig boots in to the WinXP, but then reboots.

Any tips on o/cing my rig?
