We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Here is the situation:

2 Sites: Des Moines, Eau Claire

Eau Claire Subnet: 192.168.1.0/24
Des Moines Subnet: 192.0.1.0/24

Offices are all connected via VPN tunnels

Site Links are up
All Subnets are properly represented in
DNS and File Replication show no errors in Event Log

2 Windows 2003 DC's: Fiddle and Meddle

Our main office is Eau Claire. Meddle was the first DC in the organization and is physically installed here in Eau Claire. I just setup and configured Fiddle as another DC at our main office in Eau Claire. Currently it's IP addressing is for the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. I have read Microsofts guide on moving a DC from site to site. Here is what I have so far:

- Fiddle is not a preferred bridgehead server
- Fiddle is a DNS server with foreword and reverse lookup zones. It is non-authoritative for any Zone.
- I will be changing the IP/Gatway settings to the 192.0.1.0/24 Subnet then shutting down the computer and physically moving it to the Des Moines office. Fiddle will be shut down for 48 hours or so before it arrives in Des Moines.

My question is when do I move the server object in Active Directory over to the Des Moines site? Before I shut down Fiddle or after Fiddle is at the Des Moines location? Also am I missing anything else in the process?

Thanks in advance.
