I am having a hard time figuring out if the new GPU's will work with my intel mother board specifically the 5070 as I am debating an upgrade from a 3070 to a 5070. Specs are below.

(Checked MSI's website for the MB compatibility but don't see the 5070 listed for this MB, but then again I don't see the 3070 listed either and it has run great for a few years)

Question: Is a MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus motherboard (LGA) going to be compatible with the future 5070 Nvidia cards?

CURRENT COMP SPECS BELOW:
CPU: I9-9900KF (Intel)
GPU: RTX 3070 FE (EVGA)
RAM: 32GB GSkills RipJaws DDR4
MB: MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus (LGA)
POWER SUPPLY: EVGA 850 G+ SuperNova
STORAGE: Samsung Evo 990 EVO PLUS M.2 2TB

Noob here, any feedback will be great.

yes. pcie gens are backwards compatible.

just got to make sure the card you want can physically fit in the spot you want to put it.

yes. ^^^
mobo makers usually dont list "compatible gpus". if it has a pcie slot, its compatible.
ps: welcome to [H]!
