I have a 19" dell monitor and i read in the thread of Show your LCD setup that some guy was saying that looking at monitors in the dark is bad for your eyes? Im thinking about this cause all i do is look at my monitors in the dark, its so much more epic... lol

CRT's are bad for your eyes, LCD's not so much.
Constantly staring at monitors 24/7 and never going outside will fubar your long distance vision.
I used to be 20/18, now more like 30/20
