hello guys im looking for an advice on what monitoring software could i use to check my gpu and cpu temps on my 2nd monitor, i have 2 monitors and the 2nd one is just to monitor my system while playing, im looking for a very light software that doesnt need too much resources when running.
i've tried everest but for some reason i cant get it to start with vista, i've checked the option to start everest on windows startup, and it doesnt start.....thanks for your help
 
maybe set everest to windows XP SP2 compatibility for it to work. ( worked for bioshock it should work for everything XD ) worth a shot
 
You've got eVGA products... try EVGA Precision. The download link is on the main page for evga.com. It doesn't do CPU (I think) but it does GPU monitoring really well, and can do so with its own little OSD. I have it set to monitor my GPU temps on my Logitech G15 keyboard display. It even measures FPS!
 
I'm trying out HWMonitor and had a quick question. Why does HWMonitor list my video card twice? Is it because I have a second monitor connected to my video card?

Are you referring to the min, max, and value columns? Does it physically list 2 different GPU cores? Are the temps for these "2 video cards" the same?
 
I'm using Riva Tuner, it can display GPU, CPU temperatures, framerate, memory usage (and many more... :p ) in the task bar or via on screen display during gaming.
A nice guide is this for setting up RT. :)
While playing, the best option is to use one monitor (Single Display Performance Mode) ;)

Yes it actually lists the gpu core twice. The temps and voltage are the same, though I did one gpu core go up a degree then followed by the other core.
