Has anyone else had problems dealing with Monarch Computers? I placed an order, and I can't seem to get any accurate help from them. They seem to keep giving me the run-a-round. I've tried emailing and they don't respond ...I don't know maybe it is just me???

I have ordered a few times from them without issue. What is your reason for trying to get in touch with them anyway?

I haven't had problems with MONARCH, other than when placing an order, my shipping and billing address are different.

But their customer service representative is great. Try contacting someone named Carol. She's very good. I usually call in, but I've gotten pretty quick turnarounds on email as well.

I've ordered from them numerous times and have had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. They're awesome!

I ordered a pair of 7800GTX 512MB's from them on launch day and I called them to make sure I had gotten my order in fast enough. Even though I got an e-mail and the website said they were in, the man told me I did not get them and they would be backordered.

I e-mailed them to cancel the order and received a confirmation of the cancellation a few minutes later. Ok, everything's good and I ordered them from Newegg and got them and everything was great.

At the end of the month, guess what pops up on the credit card bill? A charge from Monarch computers for the amount of 2 7800GTX512's. They charged my credit card anyways! Not only did they not have them in when I ordered them, they went ahead and charged my credit card and didn't even cancel the order like the said they did in the reply.

It's too bad I didn't actually receive any cards from them because then I could argue that the order was cancelled and had proof to back it. Then I'd have 2 free 7800GTX512's to sell! :)

I ordered a power supply from them that said it was in stock and should ship in 1-2 days on their website and after about a week I started e-mailing them and the only reply I got was the automated one saying me e-mail was recieved. After a few answered e-mails I e-mailed them telling them I was gonna take my bussiness somewhere else and I wanted to cancel my order and they just cancelled it no problem.

I've ordered two motherboard/cpu combos and a cpu from them and no problems there but I don't really shop at Monarch unless I have to.

What does this hafta do with AMD CPUs? but anyway I ordered from them once and it was fine.

Nothing...but I couldn't decide on which forum to post in...and since I ordered 6 AMDs from them, I figure what the heck.

It sounds like anyone else, 80% of the people will have good experience...I'll give them a little more time to fix their issues. I guess it is like anything else, you get what you pay for. Thanks for the replies.

I've never had an issue with them at all. They have always come through for me. In fact, I really only purchase from two places, Newegg and Monarch. Although I have purchased from Velocity Micro once and that too was pleasant.

Call the credit card company. It will be no problem especially if you have the cancellation emails. Ditto if its a debit card, call the bank and don't worry about Monarch. VIsa/MC or amex will most get there attention.

I tried ordering from them 4 years ago. They said they had items in stock that they didn't and I never saw any parts. Ended up having to cancel the order and then ordered from Tiger Direct....that wasn't that much better of an experience but at least they got me my items and even did a quick RMA for me.

I ordered a PSU from Monarchcomputer on 12/30 and they charged my credit card the same day. Their website claims they ship orders in 1-2 business days, and they will send an email with tracking information.

So I figured by 1/4 (three business days) I should hear something. I sent an email, got no reply. My PSU shipped on 1/6 (from a warehouse about 50 miles from me) and arrived on 1/7 so at least I received it.

I'm still a little steamed they did not ship until seven days, they didn't send the tracking info email, and they never responded to my "hey where's my order?" email.

I ordered a barebones system from them. Other than their 3-6 day build time advertisement being utter bullshit (it took 3 weeks), the system is flawless and I am delighted.

PS: For anyone who might remember my posts about the trouble I was having getting it going, it was 100% user error.

Guess it just depends on the system. I ordered an Opty 165 combo last monday night, it was shipped on Tuesday by fedex ground, but I received it on Thursday morning.

Strange thing is that their website said the 165 oem I had ordered was oos - I emailed them on Tuesday morning asking if they had an eta, or if I could cancel and got an email back within an hour. Maybe I got bumped up the priority because of the email.

Either way, I've had no problems with the 4 combo orders I've placed with them in the last year. They were helpful when one of them had a mobo that needed to be RMAd and even cross shipped the replacement.

the current rig im using was bought from monarch computer. they weren't too bad and took about two weeks for the stuff to come in. the only bad thing i had with them, nothing serious was that the heatsink i ordered was not in stock (although their site said it was in stock) so they had to order more before sending. i did get it later so everything was okay.

I've only built one PC myself, and I ordered a mobo CPU combo through Monarch. I also got RAM through them since they'll make sure everything plays well together before shipping.

No issues here, I've been very happy with my purchase.

ive order from them 4 times and havent had one bit o trouble.
i live in VA so i get my stuff in 2 days which is nice.
