I was hunting around for giggles looking to see how much a new Video card for my Toshiba X305-q705

It currently has a 9700m GTS and I couldn't find a shop selling replacements.

Suggestions for finding newer cards ? Links ?

Video cards are usually built into laptops in such an integral manner that it's not feasible to upgrade them.
 
Yea typically, but these are as I understand it replaceable and should be using a standard ( for the card ) connector.

Oh well the hunt continues.

Usually. Not in this case though.
OP: Its next to impossible to find upgrades. Back when I worked for a vendor, the prices were insane for any kind of upgrade and it was very limited depending on the model. Really that 9700M is a half decent card for a laptop. You can look around for a mobile gtx260 but its going to cost probably about half of what you paid for your laptop.
