Just thought i'd ask a question, see if anyone had some ideas. I'm completely stumped here. I plan on buying a stick of 512 mb mushkin 3200 ram to dual channel with my current one. I'd been getting some memory errors, so I switched the current stick I have to another slot. No problems. Which made me start thinking. Running memtest in it's current slot, I have no errors or problems. If I switch the same stick to the other slot, I get errors in memtest. But when I tested a stick of mushkin 2100 in the "broken" slot, it didn't find any issues. The manual for my MB (abit nf7-s) says to install ram from sockets 3-1 in order. but only 2 and 3 support ddr400, so I have my stick currently in the 2nd position and it works fine. When I move it to position 1 is when I have problems. Could that be because I'm not going in order as the manual suggests? Any ideas?
