Just bought Mass Effect 2 online and should have it within a few days.

2.8Ghz Phenom X3 with 4GB DDR2 and a 9800GT on Windows 7 Home Premium.

Will it play smoothly on my 22" widescreen LCD?

what res?

I played with an x4 965, 4gb, 9800gt at 1080p near-max without much of a problem.

awesome game btw

I play with a Phenom II X3 and a 5770 at 1440x900 with everything turned all the way up and have no slowdowns. I'd assume you'll be fine.

Sure Gtx 260 have almost constant 60 fps in 1920x1200 with all ingame options maxed out.

played okay on my 7600 gt with a e8400@3.6 ghz on 1680x1050
by okay do you mean almost 30 fps on low settings? lol. the 7600gt barely even meets the min(6800) just to play the game so I doubt at 1680x1050 with that relatively old card was what most people would call playable. you have a good cpu so why don't you buy a new card so you can actually play modern games worth a poo?
