TomJesusBrady said:Im kinda disappointed in this years version only b/c its basically 2005 with new rosters, some what new menu, tweaked modes and that passing vision crap. Nothing really new. I mean you pay 50 bucks and your getting a roster update. EA can do whatever they want now cause they bought the NFL rights. So i bet they made a boat load this year on madden since they didnt put to much into it. If NFL2k series was still around i bet you would have seen a better madden. Now theres no options, They can put out a shitty game every year and ppl will still buy cause its the only football game now.

i just got it in, its loading on the hdloader right now. (super fast loading times) will be back in a hour or so on what i think about it compared to 05
edit:
played for about 10 mins.
my initial thought was that the music and the menu's are improved. the graphics look a little sharper than 05, not much but you can notice it if you played enough 05.
ill have to get used to this QB vison stuff to see if its not a gimmick, havent played long enough to give a serious comment on it.
the "drive summary" is pretty cool, i always wanted to see how ive done for that run.
is it me, or do the stadiums look a shit load bigger? lol

ill probably pick up the psp version also, gotta have my madden fix on the goThe PSP Factor: PS2 owners catch a lucky breaktheir version of Madden comes packed with a PSP system-link feature, so you can transfer franchise data from the console game and continue playing your season on the PSP edition (which tackles the handheld this September) or vice versa.![]()
after a day of playing....
the superstar mode (which is pretty similar to the heisman trophy for ncaa) is pretty cool. the AI seems A LOT better. the stats that come up after a TD or in the middle of the game are nice feature like i said earlier. franchise mode, which i havent really touched yet, looks a bit reworked this time around.
ive actually adjusted to the new QB vison and im starting to love it. how you can pass over, behind, infront and next to the defender (if your good enough) to keep the ball away from interceptions is great.
sucks the panthers had to take a hit in points this game due to their horrible season last year, i used them everytime in 05. but the raiders look like my next team to play with as Moss is amazing for offence
graphics and the replays look a bit better also, not much, but you really only can tell if you play a lot of 05. the menu's are new and not too clunky, which i like also.
the demo of burnout revenge is pretty cool. funny EA is goin to make arena football next year, im guessing for the next gen console's the way the trailer looked.
i like to get madden every year so its just a cycle for me, regardless of what EA has done to their company outside of the development of the game. im not much of a NBA Live fan (the gameplay just isnt there for me) but the graphics look noticably different for 06 so i might check it out. (rent)

Anyway, does anyone know how to pull the ball down with the QB and run? It says like L2+Square, but he just falls to the ground.
