I'll explain it as best as I can.

It was a hand made cube case.
It was made out oif acrylic if I recall correctly.
There was a small space between each side about 1/4" it looked like.
The panels were attached with 90° metal chrome corner brackets.

That's all I can remember specifically about the mod.

Can anyone locate the post that contained that mod?

I looked for about 10 minutes, without any luck. I even checked the "show your rig" post, but the pages take forever to load here at work.

Do you have any more pics of it?

I'd like to see soem detail pics of whatever end is removable/hinged etc...

Also, I see the rearview only has some small holes ofr the cables to come out of, is that correct? May I ask why you did it that way?

And another question, did you get the front laser cut for the CDROM?

Awesome work, I didn't realize that was your creation. The site doesnt give you credit for it anywhere that I saw.

OK, one more question. You said you were inspired by another case. Care to post a pic of it?

No I lost a lot of pics a while back in a HDD crash. The backside is removable (I bought 2 hinged chrome brackets). The holes on the back are for the monitor and the rest of the cables. I did it that way because I was a noob and didn't know any better. I cut the front with scroll saw.

So the remaining 6 L-brackets are only screwed in on 1 side so they slide off the glass when the door is opened?

Do you have any of those brackets left over? I am finding the minimum order is 1000 or more.

I believe I still have enough to make another. I'll have to check when I'm at the shop tomorrow. You need enough to make that case or more?

and ya those remaining ones slide off (not on tight)

I am still very much in the planning stages of this mod. I was really hoping to find brackets that attached at the corners, not near the middle of the panel. That way I'd only need 8 brackets. Also, it wouldnt be identical to yours either. I don't want to copy your design 100%.

Let me know how many you have and I'll see if it works for my design. Lemme know what you want for em too!
