I'm in the market for a new graphics card. I have basically decided on the nVidia 6600 series, and I'm looking to pay about $150. This is for an AGP system.

So the big question is, where can I find one? Are the AGP models out yet? I can't seem to find any. Could someone tell me the release date if they aren't out?

Who should I buy from? By that I mean what manufacturer. I had video quality problems with an old GeForce 3 by a no-name, so can anyone recomend any brands that tend to have better video quality on the analog out?

Thanks for your help guys. I'm look for a new card for my little sister's PC, so I don't need anything high end. The 6600s seem to be perfect for me (I've read the reviews), but I just can't find 'em.
 
the agp version definately isnt out. The pci-e may be available im not sure but itd be really hard to find/use if it was. I was kinda expecting it to be out by christmas, a good idea to me, because the 6600GT clocks higher than the 6800NU at $199. what a deal
 
Yeah I'm interested in a 6600GT as well (actually I guess that's the $199 version) and of course I want an AGP model. But this simply seems like the best value atm. Maybe it will be available for Christmas eh? :D

See my backup / LAN party system needs a video card. I have a 6800 in my main system. However, I'm sure I can handle a slight drop in performance when I'm going to be saving nearly $100! :p

I "suggested" this item to NewEgg as one that was in demand. And they replied that they were "in the process" of carrying it. No particular time frame was specified. But I'm sure that someone there is "clued in". ;)
