I got one from a friend, just the mouse and base.

I just put in some new NiMh rechargeable batteries

light is blinking after about 5mins of use, so i put it on the charger...

How can i tell if its charging or just sitting there?

is there a sign to see if its charging or what

You will see the Red LED off the back turn off, and a green LED off the front/top of the mouse blink....When it stops blinking, it is fully charged..

mine just keeps blinking red

have never seen it green
:(

Sometimes the mouse isnt seated correctly to make contact. Try to clean the contacts on both the mouse and chargingstation first, make sure the powersupply is connected properly and then place it in the charger. I f the red light doesnt go out en the green comes on, take it out and reseat it again untill it does....
Works for me..... ;)

anyone know what power connector i need to get for this charger ?

I would contact Logitech about getting the adapter.

It is an AC adapter with an output of 5.8V at 1A.
