I recently bought a Dell inspiron 9100 with a radeon9700 and a 3.2ghs p4.
Ive been trying to play doom3 on it, but it keeps restarting after a few minutes of play. I updated the radeon and chipset drivers, but no effect.

Seems like it could be overheating, as the back of the laptop gets awfully hot, but I cant go in there and throw in a waterblock....or can I :D
Seriously though, what would you do about a laptop restarting during gaming?
 
Do I seem that desperate? ;)

I didnt come across it till late, so I didnt feel like making a call. Ill be calling soon unless i come across a fix here.
