Have a Toshiba latop that supports pc 3200. The machine now has 512 mb in dual channel(2/ 256 sticks) Pc 2100 installed in it. The pc2100 operates with a 3:2 divider at 2.5 3 3 6 timings. I have been looking to upgrade to 1gb, 2 sticks of 512 of the Ocz pc3200 with 2.5 4 4 8 timings (Model #: OCZ400512VSO). Would I notice much of a difference with the different timings? Cosair offers some PC 3200 in the XMS line with 2.5 3 3 6 timings which is identical to the timings I now run with the PC 2100, but the cost is twice as much, 104 a stick vs 52 a stick. What is best option?

Thanks
Andy

Went ahead and ordered the OCZ PC 3200 so dimms. 2 / 512's 2.5-4-4-8, was like 51 a stick. I like the XMS but is just to expensive at 104 a stick. Funny thing is Toshiba never made it known that the Intel chipset in the lappy would run with PC 3200 at the correct speed but it does as some folks found out by experimenting. Also runs in dual channel. Thanks for the help folks :)
