Does the LED that illuminates the HyperX logo on the USB dac supposed to be on 24/7? It's on even when my computer is off. Is this the way its supposed to be? It kind of bugs me.
 
You probably have it plugged into an always on USB port. Your bios might have an option to disable it.
 
Thanks limitedaccess. You were close, but it was enough to get my answer. My gigabyte mobo has a on/off charge usb port, so I tried disabling that thru windows (no option thru the bios) and that didnt work. so I googled it and others said to enable the ERP, which worked! Thanks! I was thinking about returning the headphones which are good for gaming just for this reason.
