is this mem ok?

corsair ram is fully trustable and good for performance.. overclocking or not. =)
 
it looks good, but i would look for maybe a lower CAS, though i doubt u'd find it for that much...good find, it should work really well for what u wanna do with it, but I would look for a high performance, u will see that much of a difference for the extra 50 bucks
 
Uh, high performance really just means like a few extra percentage points of performance, and in most cases, this difference is not noticeable (only in benchies).

Get the RAM, it's good stuff.
 
Yeah i bought a couple sticks of those for my friends computer when he wanted me to replace the ram in his. Really good stable ram, some of the best money can buy if your not looking for overclocking.
 
yeah, ur right, but for the future, it might be a better investement, but i guess DDR2 will become the standard soon, yeah, its good for what you want to do...
