I don't suppose if anyone knows any way i could remove my engraved name from the back of my 20g ipod? I've been entertaining the idea of selling it and i doubt anyone is going to want to buy it with my name on it. It does have a skin on it (black) so you can't see the name but still.

lol...usually it is how to get it engraved AFTER I purchased...not how to get it off...to be honest I don't think there is a way of doing it short of having somebody engrave over it to obliterate it

Take some what's-it-called... steel wool... heavy duty stuff. Brush the polished metal on the back of the iPod. It won't look very polished after that, but if you do it all in one direction you'll get a very nice brushed metal look, and no more 'tattoo.' A friend of mine did that on his iPod. It also makes the finger-fat stains and such less obvious. ;)

heh i may have to try that if the would be buyer wants me to (assuming i can find one heh) thanks!
