ARGH... My notes/apps/settings/etc are all fine after the update, but ALL of my emails are gone (iTouch 2G). Was that supposed to happen?

(I guess I have to do a restore...)

It didn't on mine, but I've talked to a few people that did have it happen. I'm only using the normal web e-mails (Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail) which didn't affect mine - but the exchange people I knew that kept local files got hosed.

I just grabbed the new OS on the 3gs and it only knocked out my inbox. Its pulling from exchange as I type though, so I have yet to encounter a problem. Other people in my office have lost email all together and also MMS in some cases :p

Email works fine for me, exchange direct push. The gmail type grouping of conversations threw me for a loop at first.

My mail app is slow as shit, plus I can't download certain labels in my Gmail account. Mail app also crashes a lot, and freezes as well. I am ready to throw this mother fucker at the wall.

It will get to 48/200 downloaded in a specific label and then just stop. The data stops flowing in and it sits there and does nothing.

Mail w/ MS Exchange works perfectly fine for me.
