Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Use BootCamp to partition off some space on the drive (splitting it between OSX and what space you'd like to give to Windows 7), then put the Windows 7 installation DVD in the drive and reboot when BootCamp is ready to get Windows installed.
It's pretty painless. After you get it installed, it should become the default OS (the one you get when you boot the PC). You can change that in the BootCamp options under OSX or under Windows, either one. You can also choose which OS you want when you boot the machine by holding the Option key (iirc, been awhile since I used a real Mac) and it'll present both OSes as icons on the screen, select the one you want, etc.
After Windows 7 is installed, boot into it and let the Apple Updater grab the latest drivers/updates - don't use Windows Update for that as the BootCamp drivers are from Apple directly (as provided by the OEMs). After BootCamp has updated everything, then hit Windows Update and do all the normal Windows updates.
where is the bootcamp located? i tried installing win7 and i got a blank screen. is there a way to use bootcamp without having to reinstall the mac os?
