is it as simple as installing Windows XP 32 on a different hard drive "like E drive" than the C drive. I currently have Windows 7 64bit installed on the C drive and i want Windows XP32 bit on a different drive.
 
It's actually gonna be a bit more difficult since to do in your case since you have Windows 7 installed first. When dual-booting, the older OS should be installed first and then the newer OS.

But it is possible to dual boot a PC with Windows 7 installed first with Window XP. Just google it.

You can do it that way. You'll just need to select the boot drive from whatever BIOS options you have, or set whichever drive to boot up you want.

Alternatively, you can do that, and then use EasyBCD or the like to add the XP install to your win7 bootloader.
