You know what is worse than having no trees? Apple buying up all the damn trees and....planting them on their roof! For shame! In this morning's edition of "What can you find to complain about next?" please enter the San Francisco Chronicle suggesting that Apple is causing a tree shortage in the Bay Area and Apple's response. Since public defecation is an issue in San Fran, maybe they could get a team of people to just drop seeds in the steaming piles on the the streets? More trees! Problems solved.

What do you do for a living? I incubate saplings, usually after my morning coffee.

Ive takes offense at the idea that he hasn’t already thought of every detail during the years of planning Apple Park. He scoffs at an article claiming that Apple contributed to a tree shortage in the Bay Area by buying up so many plants for the campus, “as if we’d got to the end of our project and we thought, Oh, we’d better plant some trees.” Apple began working with an arborist years ago to source trees, including varieties that once made up the bountiful orchards of Silicon Valley; more than 9,000, many of them drought-resistant, will have been planted by the time the campus is finished.

Obviously Apple is putting the trees in a tree museum to charge folk a dollar and a half to see 'em. Folks don't know they got until it's gone. Ultimately Apple wanted to pave paradise to put up a parking lot.

Yes.. Counting Crows cover of Joni Mitchel's song is better.

They better be all apple trees or I see a lawsuit for copyright infringement!

Now if San Francisco can train their homeless to defecate near the fruit trees, it would solve two problems. Organic farming, Apple's next frontier.

Well they need the trees for when they dome over the spaceship to save the elite Apple race from the looming global catastrophe. Suck it hippies!

I would be very good at incubating and planting seeds. It's not currently on my resume, but maybe I should consider updating it.
