HTPC case

I am looking to get a nice and inexpensive case for my 2 tv setups.

I need a black case that is microATX and has a front display with a clock. I also need that software to accept the WMC remote through IR.

Are there any ideas that people have out there?

I currently have the Antec Fusion case, I am not a fan of the front display though.

Although not cheep. But a very good case, I bought one when they were $130. Has Built in Clock, and IR receiver, only slight problem I have with it, is that there's a slight lag between pressing buttons, and on-screen actions, but I believe that's because the IR receiver is software based. and it not to bad of a lag, so it doesn't bother me too bad. And once in a while it will freeze up, and il have to remote in to restart the program...about once every month or two. I have more problems with tuners not recording things then remote issues.

I'm curious as to why you want a LCD display on the case even though the one you currently have on your Fusion is subpar. Here's a hint: they don't get better then that. Nearly all cases with LCDs on them are using Imon LCDs and Imon isn't very well regarded among the HTPC community due to their pretty crappy software and limited support.

Honestly, I don't understand the requirement for one if you don't much like the one you hae already, they don't get any "better."

I've owned both of these cases and really enjoyed them as HTPC cases:

Will this case

11-121-100-TS

fit an mini-ITX mobo? I'm asking if it has the needed holes/standoffs.

Yes it does, it fit my mITX boards. (I had one of those cases, nice cheap HTPC case).

No problem. Just so you know, you might want to convert the PSU to a modular one (not replace it cause it's a special form factor that has no modular version) by shorting the cables and either buying or making your own modular cables like these

The hard drives sit right against the PSU's cable outlet and it gets cramped. The data SATA cable kept getting knocked out by the PSU's cable bundle outlet when I would button up the system. The next time I get one of those cases I will be making modular cables for the PSU.
