• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hey guys, just got a problem with one of my laptops having died, more specifically the backlight died. Regardless I took the hard drive out of laptop and put it into an external drive and now I cannot access my username to copy my important stuff off of there, is there a way to crack this? I unselected "Read-Only" but it had no effect.

You have to take ownership of the folder before you can access the contents.

Right click the folder - Properties - Security - Click the advanced button - Owner tab - Select your user name from the list, place a check mark in the box to propagate to all sub-containers and objects - Click OK.

After that, you should have access to the folders contents.
