First of all, I know absolutely nothing about audio. Currently I have really shitty $10 2.1 speakers I have had for the past 2 years and I finally can't stand them anymore. Every time you turn the knob to change volume, you get all this static and sometimes one of the two speakers will just turn off at certain sound levels. Well from what I had read the Logitech x-230s where the best cheap speakers out there (Money is very thigh right now). I was on Newegg about to buy them when I saw that the x-530's where only $10 more and I could have surround for barely any more money. Well my question is will they work in true surround sound on my motherboard (I have an ECS K7S5A)? Will buying any $10 5.1 sound card make it work? For the moment quality is not a big concern, as I can always upgrade latter on (And either ways the x-530s will still sound a million times better than what I have at the moment). Basically, I want to know what is the best cheap sound card out there?

Best cheap soundcard is probably the AV-710...it's like $30, and you won't have to upgrade it for a while.
