I'm currently try to fix my mom's computer which is a Mac Running OS9. I know it's a G3 beige case. When it's booting up it'll freeze after about 1/4 of the progress bar is done, then it will display what should be an error dialog box, but it's completely blank. She said the first time it happened it displayed an error Type 10, but since I've taken over debugging it, it has only shown the blank box. I've run TechTools and other than a few hard drive errors, everything was fine hardware wise. Any help would be appreciated, and if you need more info on the computer I can try to get it for you. Thanks.

hold the shift key down and bypass extensions on boot up and see if you can get in through there. Most likely its an extension problem. See what the last icon is on the bottom and if you can get in with the shift key trick, try turning it off. Adobe Type Manager is one of the most common crashable extensions.
