• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
    Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hi all,
I'm a Lotus admin, but have recently been assigned to support a couple folks running using Outlook and connecting to an external POP server. I admit to knowing next to nothing about Outlook, so please be gentle.

These people are getting a TON of spam, and filtering at the ISP level is minimal.
Can anyone recommend a good solution that would filter this garbage at the client level?

Thanks in advance!

Outlook has a rules wizard, but it's pretty lame. The only truely effective way to filter spam is to set Outlook to junkmail everything that is not on the trusted users list. This function can be accessed from within the Rules wizard.

the only problem with it is that the end-user is responsible for making sure their trusted list is up to date.

::EDIT::

I've been getting alot of spam email with inline image tags. No way to filter those unless you have a RAW body filter that can remove emails with the src=cid: html in them. I hate spammers.
